I've deciphered some of the Geode's hum. It speaks of an ancient artifact, a Stone of Binding, hidden within a forgotten chamber, past the Screaming Vents. This stone was once used to contain powerful elemental energies. If it has been disturbed, it could be a source of the current imbalance. It's usually found on a small, elevated ledge overlooking a pool of steaming water.
