The scent of decay is growing stronger around the Rotting Woods. Too many Vultures are circling, drawn by something unnatural. They're feasting on something, but it's not normal carrion. I need you to thin their numbers and bring me back some of their Tattered Feathers. They might carry traces of what they're consuming.

The feathers are... slick with something I can't quite identify. It's not blood, but a viscous, dark residue. Whatever the vultures are eating, it's foul.
